Forging communities

“Forging Learning Communities” relates to all levels of the trust, whether within the classroom, the key stage, across year groups or between clusters of academies.

All partner schools pledge to achieve the Trust’s mission through our nine guiding principles…

Our Partnership

The Forge Trust is Learning Community of 8 schools across Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.

Jamie Macintyre | CEO

Welcome from the CEO

At the Forge Trust we understand the potential for education to be transformative, and to provide a genuine and lasting benefit to both individuals and wider society.

I believe passionately that every child should be supported to develop the knowledge, skills and attributes to lead a happy and fulfilling life enabling them to flourish and discover their own unique potential.

At the Forge Trust, we aim to ensure that children experience kindness, understanding and a sense of belonging throughout their time with us. Our staff across each school community are central to achieving this, in lessons, on the playground, in the dining hall or in the school foyer.

This is why, for me, the idea of Forging Learning Communities is so vital in developing highly skilled staff with the ability to forge connections with the children they work with and make a genuine difference to their lives.
